Chester Country Club was originally formed September 30, 1954, and was located at Fort Kaskaskia State Park between Chester and Ellis Grove, Illinois. The current nine-hole golf course opened in the spring of 1966 and is located on Route 3, two miles north of Chester, Illinois.
Greens consist of Bent grass and are some of the largest and better constructed greens in Southern Illinois. Modern irrigation system and Bermuda grass fairways were added in the Fall of 1994. With a large practice green and a cart rental fleet Chester Country Club is available for your golfing pleasure.
Besides a very fine Golfing facility, Chester Country Club offers its members a very hospitable clubhouse includes a full bar and kitchen. Tournaments and special events are part of the yearly calendar.
